(1888 PressRelease) WorkSocial is the only coworking space in the United States to earn this designation. WorkSocial was founded by Natasha Mohan, a University of Michigan Alumni. She started Worksocial in Jersey City, NJ where she lives with her family.
Jersey City, NJ – The team at WorkSocial, New York and New Jersey’s leader in the Shared Office Space industry, is celebrating yet another milestone in their business. They are thrilled to announce that the U.S. Small Business Administration has recently granted their company exclusive minority-owned business status. WorkSocial is the only co-working space in the US to receive this prestigious designation.
“Since WorkSocial’s inception, we have been on a mission to connect the world of entrepreneurs. We know that world is beautifully diverse, and we have become obsessed with the idea of creating workspaces which inspire innovative ideas and bring lasting change in our community. We are proud to be a minority-owned business that clearly sees the possibilities and are honored that the Small Business Administration has recognized the hard work we’re putting in to ensure that every person has the opportunity to chase their dreams,” said Natasha Mohan, a representative of WorkSocial.
The U.S. Small Business Administration recognizes that, while minority-owned businesses continue to grow, they still face a great deal of social and economic disadvantages which lead to significant hurdles in obtaining capital.
As a result of their minority-owned business certification, WorkSocial’s Corporate training venue for rent in NJ will benefit from and join in with the SBA’s mission to bridge the knowledge access gap and position minority business owners to gain greater visibility and consideration for contracts specifically earmarked for them.
Mohan continued, “WorkSocial is so much more than just a coworking Office Space Rental in Jersey City. It’s a place where anyone can turn their dreams into reality. With affordable rent and a plethora of amenities and advantages, we’re working every day towards making our world the beautiful, inspiring, and transformative place we know it can be.”
