As main sponsor of this 4-months event, Raffinerie Tirlemontoise has decided to put T-Man, a little man made out of sugar cubes, in the spotlight to go with bikers and skaters to the many T-Man Roller Parades happening in Belgium. On 11 August, the parade came for the very first time to Tirlemont, the city were T-Man was born.
An immediate success for this first edition! More than 200 sporty people took part in this challenge and spent an unforgettable afternoon. As all the other parades, they were welcomed with music and were able to taste crepes with sugar from Tirlemont. They then hit the road for a 15-km journey in Tirlemont and its surroundings. 80 skaters opened the parade, followed by over 120 bikers. Among them, many children and their parents, as well as employees of Raffinerie Tirlemontoise.
In conclusion? Tirlemont is already ready to welcome this sporty event next year!
