Signit, the leading Saudi digital signature solution provider, is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded the comprehensive Digital Trust Service Provider (TSP) license by the Digital Government Authority (DGA).
This major milestone propels Signit to new heights, expanding its offerings beyond digital signatures to include the issuance of digital certificates, electronic seals, and timestamping—making digital transactions not only more reliable but also more secure across various sectors.
Mohamed el Abbouri, CEO of Signit, shared, “This license marks a pivotal moment for Signit as we continue to empower individuals and businesses in Saudi Arabia to operate confidently and securely in the digital world. By broadening our services, we strengthen our commitment to supporting the Kingdom’s digital economy with solutions that are fast, trusted, and in full compliance with local regulations.”
Signit is already trusted by over 400 organizations in Saudi Arabia for its advanced digital signature solutions. This new license will allow Signit to serve even more industries, offering a comprehensive suite of digital trust services tailored to meet the needs of businesses and government entities across the Kingdom.
One of Signit’s unique advantages is that it is a fully Saudi-developed solution, ensuring automatic compliance with national regulations, including the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).
Mohamed further emphasized, “With this new license, we are now an officially recognized authority for issuing digital certificates. Think of them as a digital passport or trusted seal, confirming the authenticity of an individual’s identity online and ensuring their digital transactions are legitimate and secure.”
As Saudi Arabia accelerates its digital transformation, TSPs like Signit play an essential role in helping businesses and individuals safely sign documents, verify identities, and protect sensitive information in a legally binding and fully compliant manner. This is crucial in ensuring the trustworthiness and security of digital transactions for all parties involved.
Signit’s platform currently serves small, mid-sized, and enterprises across 20+ different industries, and this new license will further solidify Signit’s leadership in Saudi Arabia’s growing digital economy.
This landmark achievement also aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, reinforcing Signit’s role in building a secure, digital-first economy and empowering businesses across the Kingdom with one-stop solutions for all their digital trust service needs.
