Women’s Indian Chamber for Commerce & Industry , Councill of Higher Education , Chandigarh UT conducted National Intellectual Property Awareness program in collaboration with NIPAM – National IP Awareness Program on 21 st May 23.
The program focused on the patent, trademark awareness to the women to ensure employability and empower the women of modern world. The program was inaugurated by the State President, Council of higher Education, UT ,Dr. RenuVij with key note on ensuring the awareness of copyright about women work.
She emphasised that awareness of patent , copyright ensures the women to how keep save her designs, art, craft , even recipes.
The Speaker from NIPAM TIFAC coordinator Dr.kumari lipi discussed in details about legal formalities how to apply for patent, fees , time and facilitators. The program focused on intellectual capital being generated and its recognition and protection.
The program consists of not only WICCI members but also women from different sphere of world, 50 participants were in session. The WICCI -Council of Higher Education was conferred Appreciation Award by Controller General of Patents ,Design , trademark under NIPAM .
The program was concluded by Ms.Ayushi ,coordinator that Lets make women and IP creators aware about patent and intellectual capital and contribute towards holistic development of society and nation upliftment.
