Citi employees on their own and with the participation of non-governmental organizations have implemented 23 social projects in 12 cities where the bank. Volunteers who regularly participate in such events, in an effort to help newcomers to help people in need.
Most of the projects in one way or another connected with the children that the holidays in children’s summer camps, beautification of the area of children’s institutions, as well as tours for children. Traditionally been organized repair projects in nursing homes, took tea with the elderly.
Chief Executive Officer of Citi in Russia and head of Citi in Central and Eastern Europe , Zdenek Turek on the special master class shared knowledge and experience with graduates of a special course “Project Management in the field of social entrepreneurship,” Graduate School of Management. After the master class, Mr. Turek presented diplomas to the graduates of the course, congratulated them to obtain as yet unique to Russia specialization and expressed the hope that the popularity of this course will only grow, “Applied skills to create and implement successful business projects aimed at addressing the most pressing social problems will help us improve the quality of life of vulnerable groups, and eventually the whole of society. This is the aim all our social initiatives, the most ambitious of which – the annual Volunteer Day.
