“Mare di Sanya” is an annual extravaganza consisting of activities such as The 5th Hainan International Yachting and High-end Lifestyle Show 2013, World Yachting Forum and Yachting Models International, representing a concentration of high-end lifestyles unanimously recognized by China’s industrial sponsors, exhibitors, visitors and media. This year, the event will be graced by activities like “Italian Way” to present an unprecedented feast to guests from around the world.
Data predicts that the Chinese luxury yacht market will grow some 20 percent in 2013 and reach a scale of over 4 billion yuan in the coming five years. Recent years have seen the birth of dozens of yacht shows, among which “Mare di Sanya” is the biggest seaside yacht consumer show in terms of exhibition area. The four-day 2012 edition of the event hosted 10,843 visitors, and grossed a turnover and an intended turnover of 480 million yuan, thus outshining other Chinese yacht consumer shows. “Mare di Sanya” has become an annual high-end gathering for the rich in China.
With an expected total exhibition area of 40,000 square meters, a land exhibition area of 20,000 square meters and 300 berths, “Mare di Sanya 2013” will showcase brands of yacht and luxury yacht, yacht-related equipment, top personal belongings, aquatic sports products and international high-end property. Italy’s largest business association – Unione Nazionale di Imprese (UNIMPRESA) – will, together with its members, bring “Italian Way” with an exhibition area of 4,000 square meters, marking its first time to massively showcase real European top Italian culture in Asia.
