1888PressRelease – Innovative product adds versatility, optimum cutting quality and stability.
Charlotte-Gastonia-Rock Hill, NC-SC – BENZ Inc. recently announced that the same dedication to innovation that won its Reciprocating Knife Cutter the coveted Challengers Award at last year’s International Woodworking Fair is now available to customers looking to add more versatility to their CNC machines.
“At BENZ, we take great pride in the quality and innovation we build into all of our products,” explained Paul Roza, BENZ Inc. National Sales Manager, Wood, Plastics and Composites. “So it’s particularly gratifying to be able to bring the award-winning innovation and versatility of the BENZ Reciprocating Knife Cutter to our CNC customers.”
The Reciprocating Knife Cutter from BENZ is designed to add a new level of versatility to CNC machines equipped with a vacuum table and C-axis. The aggregate transforms the circular motion of the motor spindle into an up-and-down knife motion. The BENZ Reciprocating Knife Cutter’s oscillating system ensures optimum cutting quality in a variety of materials, including veneer, felt, carpet, cork, carbon fiber, cloth, vinyl, foam plastics, rubber, linoleum and similar substrates. It also incorporates a strategically placed hold-down device to stabilize materials that may vibrate when being cut, keeping the material in constant contact with the surface underneath.
BENZ Inc., a member of the Zimmer Group, is the technological leader for the production of innovative machining heads for the wood, plastics, composites and metalworking industries. The company manufactures aggregates in Germany and offers sales and support for North America through its subsidiary, BENZ Inc., from its Charlotte, NC headquarters.
