- From electronic health records and mobile health, to telemedicine and value-based care, the past 10 years have been a golden age for healthcare innovation.
To celebrate this decade, Health 2.0 – a global conference for healthcare innovation – will unveil its Ten Year Global Retrospective Award winners at their 10th annual Fall Conference in September. These accolades will honor the industry leaders, tech companies, patient activists, and healthcare organizations dedicated to advancing the industry with real-world solutions, and Xerox is one of those nominees.
Round two of voting is now live and will run until July 31. We welcome your support and ask you to cast a ballot for Xerox in the “Healthcare Organization” category. You will also have the opportunity to vote for an Industry leader, a patient advocate and a tech company.
While we’ve come a long way in the past 10 years, we’re not slowing down any time soon. This year alone we’ve launched two new solutions designed to benefit providers and their patients with mainstream virtual health and apopulation health management solution.
Patients want virtual care, healthcare providers need value-based solutions
When we surveyed U.S. adults about receiving healthcare virtually for non-urgent advice, exams or counseling, 77 percent were excited about the possibilities.(1) We created Xerox Virtual Health Solutions, which are designed to help healthcare providers take advantage of patients’ interest in virtual care.
By 2018, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services will require 50 percent of provider contracts to be value-based.Xerox Health Outcome Solutions helps providers reach that goal.
We’re excited to see these solutions make their way into the hands of more healthcare providers, and we are honored that they’re the cornerstone of innovation that has made Xerox eligible for Health 2.0’s Ten Year Global Retrospective Award.
Cast your ballot for Xerox in the “Healthcare Organization” category. The poll is open until July 31, 2016.
So while you take a moment to send a vote our way – we’ll keep innovating to ensure the next 10 years live up to the past 10.
