- The Volkswagen Group is making CEBIT 2018 a job fair for IT specialists. People interested in joining Volkswagen or one of its brands will find the right address at the Volkswagen recruiting stand in Hall 27. On the stand, IT and HR experts from Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Audi, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, MOIA, MAN and RIO will provide comprehensive information on the wide variety of tasks and development possibilities offered by the Volkswagen Group and its brands.
HR Board Member Gunnar Kilian says: “Volkswagen is a highly attractive employer for IT experts. We employ data analysts, gaming experts, cyber security specialists and UX designers as well as AI research scientists. And we intend to recruit further IT experts. People who want to work in a future-oriented way at the top level in their specialty will find the best possible conditions within the Volkswagen Group: agile working arrangements, team spirit, internationality and cooperation across the boundaries between departments, brands and locations.”
Over the next few years, the Volkswagen Group intends to recruit several hundred IT and digital specialists – experienced people as well as recent graduates and self-taught specialists with expert knowledge in their areas. How can they join Volkswagen? That will be explained from Tuesday to Friday (June 12-15) by experts from the Group brands at the Volkswagen stand in the job and career area of Hall 27. On Thursday and Friday, there will also be special recruiting days with specially selected applicants who will take part in interviews and coding exercises on site.
In addition, Volkswagen will be using the Future Mobility Hall (Hall 25) as a meeting point for start-ups and IT experts with presentations, discussions and talk sessions as well as exciting exhibits. Visitors will be able to experience innovations at first hand: connected vehicles, digital automobile design, quantum computing, artificial intelligence within the company, block chain technology, virtual reality configuration, ride sharing and user experience.
