Exablaze and Solarflare Resolve Patent Dispute


The ongoing patent dispute between Exablaze Pty. Ltd and Solarflare Communications Ltd. has been resolved. The resolution is in the form of a commercial agreement and both sides have withdrawn from continued legal action or further patent challenges. Novartis settles patent litigation on Gleevec® (imatinib mesylate) with Sun Pharma subsidiary


As a result of the settlement, Novartis will permit Sun Pharma's subsidiary to market a generic version of Gleevec in the United States on February 1, 2016. The terms of the settlement agreement are otherwise confidential.
