Historic win for BMW duo Päivärinta/Kainulainen in the Sidecar World Championship – BMW racer Jordan Szoke remains unbeaten in Canada


With their victory in the FIM Sidecar World Championship (SWC), Finnish BMW duo Pekka Päivärinta and Kirsi Kainulainen wrote history: Kainulainen is the first women ever to take a win in a world championship road race. In Canada, reigning champion Jordan Szoke (CA) remains unbeaten. The BMW S 1000 RR rider also won both races of the Canadian Superbike Championship (CSBK) in St. Eustache (CA).
