Transaero appointed as designated carrier on routes from Moscow to Antalya and Istanbul


Transaero was the first Russian carrier to perform a charter flight to Antalya in the beginning of the 1990-s thus paving the way for Russian tourists to the Mediterranean resorts. The airline carried nearly six million passengers between Russia and Turkey over the past decade. In 2012 Transaero serviced about one million passengers on the flights to the Turkish destinations.
