- The Düsseldorf METRO GROUP and the British mobile specialist Carphone Warehouse consider a lot of collaboration in the sale of mobile phones, contracts and services. After a successful test phase of Media-Saturn in the Netherlands are now available in 17 Dutch wholesale markets of METRO Cash & Carry daughter MACRO common concepts with Carphone Warehouse tested. Also for the other sales divisions of METRO GROUP cooperation options are checked.

Goal of both companies is to provide its clients with customized offerings around the networked world. These include, in addition to smartphones and tablets, contracts, equipment, services, and installation and repair services and digital services such as music and video. In the Netherlands, piloting Media-Saturn and Carphone Warehouse already under the name “Saturn Connect” or “Mobile Media Market” shop-in-shop modules and a specialized, small-format ‘Saturn Connect “store. In 17 locations of MACRO Cash & Carry Netherlands joint solutions to be tested.
