WASHINGTON D.C., – Speaker, consultant, facilitator and health care expert Josef Reum, PhD, MPA will present “New Approaches to Neuroscience and Leadership” at the Interagency Institute for Federal Health Care Executives on April 24, 2017. The session, held at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD, is part of a two-week program bringing together global leaders in health care delivery from the United States Air Force, Army, Navy, Department of Veterans Affairs and Public Health Service on the challenges and opportunities facing the nation’s health care system.
Described as a “champion of change,” Dr. Reum is a respected expert in facilitating sustainable organizational change who has worked in public service, higher education, not-for-profit and the private sector throughout his 30-plus year career. With the nation’s health policy at a crisis point, Dr. Reum will focus on developing leadership in a time of uncertainty. Specifically, he will explore how the extraordinary changes and unprecedented actions affecting the health care system require innovative problem solving for the challenges ahead.
“Health care today is a complex and chaotic industry, but organizations can still position themselves to thrive,” explained Dr. Reum. “My goal is to show the nation’s health care leaders how to adapt to the transformation underway by collaboratively creating new visions, strategies and business practices enabling all to lead successfully.”
