Amnesty International: End persecution of Chechen activists

Barclays: UK retailers predict Click & Collect surge over the Christmas trading period


This predicted spike comes with an increased confidence about Christmas trading - 70% of retailers say they are feeling more confident compared to last year, when just over half (52%) were feeling optimistic about the trading period ahead. The fashion design graduate, who is also a trained seamstress, began her career in 1989 at the German edition of Elle where she has been the Fashion Director since 2002. A total donation of $1.25 million has been made to the African Union’s ‘United Against Ebola’ appeal, Médecins Sans Frontières and Vodafone HealthLine in Ghana. Vodafone Group has made a $500,000 donation to the African Union’s appeal, while Vodacom, the African communications company majority-owned by Vodafone, and Safaricom, Vodafone’s affiliate in Kenya, have each contributed $250,000 to the appeal.
