His Royal Highness the Prince of Orange starts Euro 6 production


His Royal Highness the Prince of Orange officially started production of the new DAF XF on Wednesday April 3. The new truck was developed to meet the Euro 6 emissions standards that will come into force in the European Union. DAF has invested around one billion euro to develop an entirely new Euro 6 vehicle range and to prepare its production facilities in Eindhoven in the Netherlands and Westerlo in Belgium for the new generation of trucks. Fokker Services delivers first standard parts for NH90 helicopter


Fokker Services performed its first official standard part delivery for a NH90 helicopter. During a ceremony in the Fokker Services warehouse in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands, representatives from the Dutch Ministry of Defense took receipt of the first batch of aeronautical standard hardware necessary to support their National NH90 helicopter fleet. Two FrieslandCampina production plants to switch to wind power


As part of its strategy to meet its energy targets, FrieslandCampina has adopted the Van Gogh wind farm at Etten-Leur. The wind farm, which was funded by three member dairy farmers and a team of investors, consists of five wind turbines with a total capacity of 11.5 MW (5x 2.3 MW). Guaranteed price for April: 37.00 euros


The FrieslandCampina guaranteed price for raw milk for April 2013 is 37.00 euros per 100 kilogrammes of milk. The guaranteed price for April is therefore 2.50 euros above the level of the guaranteed price for March 2013 (34.50 euros). The increase in the guaranteed price is the result of expected higher milk prices of the reference companies in April, due to the sharp increase in the price of commodities such as skimmed and full-fat milk powder, whey powder and butter in March.
