Thomas Zernechel, the Head of Volkswagen Group Logistics, says: “This decision for Wilhelmshaven is of critical strategic importance to the Volkswagen Group. The Jade-Weser-Port is Germany’s only deep-sea harbor. Lufthansa regains place as Europe’s biggest airline from Ryanair

The Lufthansa group as a whole carried 130 million passengers last year, it said on Wednesday.
