A double one-two for the BMW S 1000 RR in France


Last weekend the BMW Motorrad Motorsport racers were in action in the French Superbike Championship (FSBK) and the French European Bikes Championship (FR EU), as well as in the Italian Superbike Championship (CIV). They claimed two wins and a total of five podium finishes for the BMW S 1000 RR. The decision was made during a brief "technical" meeting at Lanvin HQ in Paris, reports WWD, and means that Elbaz will no longer have any say in the future of the brand. He does, however, continue to own a minority share in the company.
