This year we’re offering placements across 10 countries. For the first time, news publishers in Belgium and the Netherlands will be taking part—the Fellowship will open here soon—and each of will offer new opportunities for students to gain valuable experience. Scania has created a very good battery bus

The three first buses will ply a 15-kilometre route with some 40 stops. With 10-minute charging, the buses will run every 15 minutes for a total of 100 journeys each day. Tom Terjesen, Editor of Norway’s leading trade magazine Busmagasinet and President of the International Bus & Coach Jury, recently had the opportunity to test the new buses. Nokia is selected by Vodafone to be its technology partner for Mission to the Moon projec

Berlin-based company, PTScientists is working with Vodafone Germany and Audi to achieve the first privately-funded Moon landing. Mission to the Moon is due to launch in 2019 from Cape Canaveral on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. Vodafone's network expertise will be used to set up the Moon's first 4G network, connecting two Audi lunar quattro rovers to a base station in the Autonomous Landing and Navigation Module (ALINA). Groupe Renault and EEM create first “smart island” in Porto Santo

The government of the Autonomous Region of Madeira will roll out an innovative programme in Porto Santo, known as Sustainable Porto Santo - Smart Fossil Free Island, to facilitate the energy transition. EEM, which is in charge of the programme’s energy and electric mobility, has chosen Groupe Renault as its partner for electric mobility solutions. Hungarian director Réka Bucsi from Budapest wins the Audi Short Film Award at the 68th Berlin International Film Festival with her film “Solar Walk”.
