NDSQ to build seven vessels


NSW will then operate the seven vessels at the Port of Ras Laffan on a 14-year contract with Qatar Petroleum. NSW already operates a fleet of 25 vessels at Ras Laffan and a further five vessels at Halul Island, performing about 12,500 tug jobs per year in the Port of Ras Laffan. Lufthansa – New service: Economy seat reservations when booking in all booking classes


Passengers, who book flights in the lowest-price booking classes, can reserve their preferred seat from the end of November for a fee of ten euros. Such reservations, which were previously not possible, will now be on offer as an additional option. Lufthansa LEOS signs development contract for electric tractor


Now representatives of Lufthansa Technik subsidiary Lufthansa LEOS and the Swedish Kalmar Motor AB have signed a contract for the development of an electrically-powered, towbarless tractor on a hybrid basis. In future, Lufthansa LEOS wants to use it for repositioning and maintenance towing of heavy long-haul aircraft over distances of up to seven kilometres.
