Alstom Pendolino high speed train achieves 1 million kilometres in Poland


With Pendolino trains, Alstom has opened a new era for railway journeys in Poland, offering passengers enhanced comfort, safety, reliability, new standards and shorter travel time between the northern and the southern parts of the country. Lufthansa: New First Class experience on all long-haul flights from Munich


Lufthansa passengers can now experience the airline’s new First Class service on all long-haul flights from Munich. At the end of last week, the final Airbus A340-600 in the airline’s Munich-based long-haul fleet was retrofitted with the new First Class cabin. Aviva: 23,000 cyclist accidents in Greater London between 2009-2013


Research of five years’ worth of police road traffic accident data* by Aviva shows that there were 22,988 motor accidents involving cyclists inside the M25 between 2009 and 2013 – more than 12 every day. Tragically, this number includes 80 fatalities. Already this year there have been four cyclist fatalities in London.
