Tourism recorded positive growth rates in overnight accommodation in most EU countries during the winter season 2012-2013


The highest increases were observed in Slovakia (+9.6 %) and Malta (+9.0 %). PENNY wants to increase appreciation for food products


PENNY together with the German Federal Ministry for Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection (BMELV) and the German Rural Women’s Association ‘Rural Women’ (Deutscher LandFrauenverband e.V. - dlv) launch a joint campaign for higher appreciation of food. Digital Dummies: 25% of young brits confess to text collisions


More than a quarter (28%) of the population have been victims of a ‘text collision,’ according to a poll by Halifax Home Insurance. UK: It’s Porsches for courses for car owners made in Chelsea


Aviva analysed car ownership data across ten key areas of the UK, including; Chelsea and Kensington, Manchester, Birmingham and Cardiff. Among these places the wealthy borough has the highest proportion of Porsches (1.31%), Mercedes (7.41%), BMWs (6.88%) and Audis (5.89%). Iris van Herpen’s wilderness embodied collection is unveiled in Paris and includes her first hybrid 3D printed dress


The dress was created by bringing together transparent stereolithography pieces and more hands-on craftsmanship, for an unworldly result. Fine, bone-like pieces were designed on computer before being optimized for 3d printing using Materialise's Magics software. Once ready to print, the pieces were brought to life on Materialise's Mammoth Stereolithography machines using a clear liquid resin.
